HOW TO APPLY - SUMMER 2019
PROGRAM A - Applied Scientific Research - 3 weeks
***Registration for the 2019 Summer Program A, both Sessions 1 & 2,
are currently closed to new applicants!***
You may register - but you will be put on a waiting list and will be contacted if a vacancy arises.
Your payment of $300 will include the $50 nonrefundable Application Fee.
We cannot guarantee the placement of any new students at this time.
Any students who have received a scholarship offer — please contact us directly.
Programs B & C remain open to new registrants!
Important Dates for Program A - Applied Scientific Research
December 14 — Application opens.
February 10 — Application review process begins. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until both sessions are filled. If you do not hear from us within 14 days, please contact us.
April — An invoice will be sent to you via email and full tuition payment will be due (by check only) upon receipt of invoice.
April 30 — All forms due for accepted students.
June 24-July 16 — First session (Lab closed July 4th) - this session runs weekdays from 8AM until 4PM.
July 16 — Formal Research Presentations at Hypertherm, Inc.
July 17-Aug 7 — Second session - this session runs weekdays from 8AM until 4PM.
Aug 7 — Formal Research Presentations at Hypertherm, Inc.
July 18-August 1 — The Lab will be available for students who participated in First session to extend their research.
August 8-August 22 — The Lab will be available for students who participated in Second session to extend their research.
To complete the online application you MUST complete the following 4 steps:
1) Read all STEM Lab Program Policies. You must agree to these policies by checking the 'Agree' box in the Application Form (step 2) below
2) Accept STEM Lab Program Policies and fill out the Application Form, including choosing a summer session(s) - you may select up to 2 sessions. The application will not allow you to save the form and return to it at a later time. Please prepare all the necessary information ahead of time and submit the application in one sitting.
3) Submit a list of all Science and Math courses you took in the last 3 years and the grades you received. You do NOT need to submit an official transcript.

4) Payment and Pricing Policy can be viewed by clicking the link below. Your application is not complete until you submit your non-refundable Application Fee ($50) and refundable Tuition Deposit ($250).

Disclaimer: We reserve the right to cancel a program session if warranted by our situation. In that event, you will be given the option to join another summer session or cancel your admission in which case all payments and fees will be refunded within 10-20 days in the form of a check.
